“ After three days eating tacos in CDMX, el Chaman topped them all. Top notch food, try the pastor taco, great people and awesome happy hour mezcal and beer. I'd be back here in a heart beat. ”
“ Nice and cozy establishment in Coyoacan. The service recommended a nice mezcal served with grasshoppers. We also ordered papas and wings. My brother in law also ordered a tasty mojito. And I ended the night with a cappuccino with amaretto. ”
“ English well travelled late twenties guy here with high standards when it comes to food and drink. Giving credit where it's due. Walked past this joint and noticed a beautifully cooked kebab spinner thing and got the pork tacos (without cheese) and some guacamole and chips (monstrous amount of delicious fresh guac). Tacos were extremely filling, I ordered two and then two more! Also had some mezcal as they do two 2oz for only 100 pesos and now we are waiting for two mezcal mojito cocktails. Waitress actually just returned with two mezcals thinking that's what I asked for and I said no problem but she insisted and will return with my mojito cocktails. I would happily come back here again, especially for them high protein pork tacos. Honestly, there are so many poor places in Mexico, last night our bill was 50 USD at some Italian place and this place is wayyyyyy better. Hope you meet the nice waitress we met. Also for others doing research, this is in a nice area with cobbled streets, a large market for exploring, a forested square and a few other options for food and drink. Enjoy! ”
“ Love the tacos al carbon and volcanes. Anything beef is very good. Always love this place for a late night beer and arrachera volcanes. ”
“ Excellent place, the attention of the staff and the food not to mention. Very pleased indeed, I recommend this place to share with your family. ”
“ Buenos chapulines ”
“ The service is personalized and the food is delicious. I recommend ordering the house mezcal, paired with a Bohemian while eating rib and cheese tacos. The place is small but cozy. Would I return? Yes, at least once a month. Do I recommend it? Yes. ”
“ I recently had the pleasure of dining at "El Chaman" in Mexico City, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. As an Arab, I was excited to find Arabic tacos on the menu, and they were absolutely amazing! The flavors were authentic and delicious, a perfect combination of my cultural heritage with a Mexican touch. A special thanks to Maria, whose service was incredible. She was attentive, friendly and went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful meal. Their warm hospitality really enhanced our dining experience. If you are in CDMX and looking for a unique and delicious culinary experience, I highly recommend "El Chaman". ”
